Call for Entries - 37th Bradley International Print and Drawing Exhibition - IL
Deadline: January 11, 2019. The Bradley International Print and Drawing Exhibition is the second-longest running juried print and drawing competition in the country. Every two years it features the best contemporary graphic artwork from around the globe. This year’s exhibition will be held at seven prominent Peoria Illinois Galleries, The Contemporary Art Center of Peoria, Prairie Center of the Arts, Studios on Sheridan, Illinois Central College, Peoria Art Guild, and on campus at Bradley University at Heuser Art Gallery and Hartmann Center Gallery. The 37th Bradley International will be juried by Janet Ballweg. Ballweg is currently a Professor of Creative Arts Excellence and the head of the Printmaking program at Bowling Green State University in northwest Ohio. Three substantial awards will be selected by the juror: 1st Place – $3,000. 2nd Place – $1,750. 3rd Place – $750. The Exhibition has two components: a month long indoor exhibition and a year long outdoor exhibition. 76th Regional Exhibition Call for Entries - NY
Deadline: February 6, 2019. The Arnot Art Museum announces a call for artists for their 76th Regional Exhibition. Artists must be 18 or older and live in Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, or Vermont. Work over five years old or shown before in any Arnot Art Museum exhibition is not eligible. There is a maximum of two entries per artist. Arnot, added a Picture Gallery in the 1880’s. Matthias Arnot bequeathed his home and collection in 1910 to become the Arnot Art Museum. The Museum displays a permanent collection of seventeenth- to nineteenth-century European paintings, nineteenth- and twentieth-century American art, and collections of Asian and Egyptian artifacts. Temporary exhibitions highlight various aspects of the collections and include works from museums around the world. Open Call for Exhibit Proposals - IN
Deadline: January 14, 2019. Arts Place is currently accepting proposals for 2019- 2020. Located in Portland, Indiana center, which includes a main gallery and two smaller galleries. The regional arts council is seeking innovative proposals from artists in Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana and Illinois. Proposals for both 2- and 3- dimensional media for solo and/or group shows are welcomed. Arts Place, Inc. is a nonprofit regional arts council that operates three centers in East Central Indiana and West Central Ohio. Arts Place is dedicated to presenting quality exhibitions of both emerging and established artists. Exhibits run for 5-6 weeks. When possible, we will have an opening reception. All exhibits are supported by press and insurance coverage, are free, and open to the public. While works may be for sale, Arts Place puts its emphasis on the artistic quality of the work being presented. Arts Place takes a commission of 30% on works sold in its galleries. Deadline: January 15, 2019. The Peninsula School of Art is currently accepting exhibition proposals for 2020 and 2021 in our Guenzel Gallery. Exhibitions of all media will be considered. Exhibitions will be chosen by the Director of Public Programs with support from PenArt’s Gallery Committee. Exhibitions are awarded based on criteria including, relevance to the our educational mission and overall artistic quality. Artists, curators, groups, and/or organizers are welcome to apply and will be notified approximately one month after the deadline. No submission materials will be returned.
